ExamDiff

Imagine yourself working on a documentation with other team members and wanting to know the differences between your version of your document and the one created by a team member. It's really difficult to spot all the differences between files just by looking at them. You will definitely need a specialized application for this purpose. One program which can help you in this situation is ExamDiff.

This Windows application can compare any two files and can clearly state all the differences between them. After installing and launching the application, a file dialog will be immediately displayed, in which the user can add the two files which will be compared. If one accesses the options window, a large number of comparison options will be displayed.

After selecting the desired files, the comparison process will immediately begin and at the end, the differences between the two files will be clearly shown in the interface, by putting the files side by side and using different colors for the differences. Besides comparing files, ExamDiff can also take a snapshot of any folder and compare it with another one created earlier or later on. In this way, the user will quickly know if the files inside the folder have been changed or not.

By accessing the options area, the user can customize the list of file types supported by ExamDiff for comparing and can also configure the program's plugins. These plugins are used to extend the application's functionality and more can be downloaded from the producer's website.

After two files are analyzed for differences, the number of them will be clearly displayed in the lower part of the interface.
